Your content should be easy to understand and should not be a complete sales brochure; instead, focus on providing value to your visitors.

Instead you could post on “do-it-yourself” (DIY) blogs, home decorating blogs and other blogs that link in to your company’s topic.

You can use this to gain more traffic to your website by not only setting up your business on these social media platforms, but by also being proactive and using them to find customers. Websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are all great sites to find potential customers.

You can also use offline methods to promote your online website. Flyers, radio, newspaper articles and posters can all advertise your website and they can help make a huge difference to getting more traffic to your website. This works especially well for local businesses because there is no better way to attract local customers than to advertise locally.
